Due to small space between the window and rafters, it can be problematic to make a 100% tight connection. The IFC forms a sealing frame around your window diminishing heat loss.
The IFC also helps with easier, faster and faultless installation.
Please note that the Dakea Insulation Foam Collar is not compatible with the KDV range of Dakea Good roof window.
