The black frame and integrated flashing is made of maintenance-free polyurethane and they can be operated using a simple handle, which locks into three ventilation positions.

This Velux rooflight comes with an insulating glass unit. Its patented safety opening restrictor prevents the window from swinging open and hitting the roof.
It comes with integrated universal flashings for both flat and profiled roofing material up to 6cm high. The pane should be cleaned with a soft, clean, lint-free or non-abrasive sponge.
The rest of the window can be cleaned with ordinary household cleaners. The filter can be removed and either washed or replaced. This Velux roof skylight comes with a 10-year manufacturers’ guarantee as standard.
