The Velux Passive House Roof Window is ideal for situations where Passive House-certified building components are required. This is the first and only roof window on the market certified for Passive House building construction in cold climate regions.

This roof window consists of a triple outer-glazing plus an additional inner double-glazing.

The roof window itself has a U-Value of 0.51 W/m2K (EN ISO 12567-2), which is the best on the market, and is powered by the sun. For additional comfort, solar powered roller shutters or awning blinds can be added. The pre-paired wall switch supplied with every Velux electric and solar powered roof windows, lets you operate the complete solution in a convenient and intuitive way.

No wiring – photovoltaic solar cell on the window top cover powers the window operator.

Passive House Glazing - This roof window comes with an advanced triple outer-glazing plus an additional inner double-glazing - providing extreme heat insulation. This particular glazing is especially designed for Passive House constructions.
