Roof Maker Flat Roof Sliding Rooflight
The Roof Maker Flat Roof Sliding Rooflight has been designed to provide maximum light and ventilation. The remote slider control allows you to open your rooflight fully or partially as and when required. All sliding rooflights are supplied with a rain sensor, which will close your window automatically when it rains. The minimal construction is designed for maximal daylight which means that this sliding rooflight is suitable for any room. For example, you can fit one in your kitchen or bathroom and you will then be able to vent heat and steam to avoid condensation and cooking smells. Available with a black frame as standard and all dimensions are the internal sizes.
With each Roof Maker Sliding Rooflight, 12-volt push/pull actuators are built into the kerb. The remote control works from up to 30 metres away, including through walls and other obstacles. There is also manual override in the event of a power failure.
The Roof Maker Sliding Rooflights offer exceptional heat retention and thermal performance. To achieve their super-low U-value, the units comprise an aluminium-clad, phenolic foam kerb with an 80 mm thermal break. The units also feature built-in telescopic rails to support the slider mechanism. The minimal self-contained design keeps your roof clean and clutter-free as there is no need for additional vents.
All Roof Maker rooflights contain fully insulated glass and more importantly fully insulated frames with effective thermal breaks, which provides unrivalled thermal efficiency that will significantly reduce the cost of heating your home. To enable optimum quality control and speedy delivery, all Roof Maker products are designed and manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility in the UK.
All rooflights contain a permanent Easy Clean coating as standard. This clever technology ensures that all Roof Maker skylights stay clearer for longer as natural rainfall prompts self clean - ensuring the only thing the homeowner sees is the view. The Solar Control glass is designed to allow maximum natural daylight into homes, whilst reducing the harmful effect of ultraviolet and infrared rays. The subtle blue-tint glass is a popular option for rooflights, especially for south facing rooms.
The contemporary range is designed bespoke to your requirements thus blending in seamlessly with your living space. More glass and less framework is used to ensure a beautiful, minimalistic look. The marine grade aluminium frames are the slimmest profile on the market.
To comply with building and safety regulations, all skylights must be fitted with an upstand to keep the glazing unit raised above the surface of the roof. This sliding rooflight features a built in insulated upstand. The structure conforms to the minimum, low level height for a flush-glazed appearance.
